AGUNSA Argentina Strengthens Its Position in the Mining Industry Following Its Participation in Expo Minera San Juan 2026

From May 6 to 8, AGUNSA Argentina participated in Expo Minera San Juan, one of the most important industrial events in the Cuyo and Northwestern Argentina (NOA) regions.

Argentina’s mining industry is currently experiencing significant expansion, with large-scale projects generating increasingly complex logistics demands. In this context, AGUNSA’s participation in the event aimed to position both AGUNSA and Marpacifico — an AGUNSA Group company based in Mendoza — as leading logistics operators within the mining sector, while strengthening relationships with existing clients and exploring new business opportunities.

Both teams played an active role throughout the exhibition, visiting various stands, meeting with clients and potential strategic partners, and holding commercial meetings with key players in the mining industry.

Representing both companies were Antonio Pereyra, General Manager of AGUNSA Argentina; Luciana Basilotta, Logistics and Freight Forwarding Manager at AGUNSA Argentina; and Viviana Giménez, Commercial Executive at Marpacifico.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to establish direct connections with companies involved in large-scale mining projects at different stages of development across San Juan and other areas of the region.

For AGUNSA, participating in Expo Minera San Juan reinforces the company’s position within a high-value and high-potential segment. Large-scale mining operations require logistics operators with regional presence, expertise in handling special and oversized cargo, and the capability to coordinate cross-border operations.

In this context, thanks to its strong operational network on both sides of the Andes and the support of the Chile–Argentina bi-oceanic corridor, AGUNSA has the capabilities required to support the mining industry comprehensively throughout every stage of its logistics chain.
